Sunhemp contains high nitrogen (0.89%), moderate phosphorus (0.12%), and potassium (0.51%). Daincha provides 0.68% nitrogen, 0.13% phosphorus, and 0.40% potassium. Cowpea and Green gram are also rich in nitrogen and potassium. Horse gram has the highest nitrogen content (0.91%) among commonly used green manures. Glyricidia and Pongamia provide moderate nutrient content and are often used in tree-based farming systems.
